Mark Varela - Head Teaching Professional

Hailing from Western Australia, Mark enjoyed a thriving junior and amateur career, competing on the international stage and earning six WA State Team selections. In 2012, he made the transition to professional golf, spending three years on the Australian Tour and various Asian tours.

Since moving to Melbourne in 2015, Mark has redirected his focus and passion toward coaching. His expertise spans from high-performance masterclasses to beginner adult and junior clinics, catering to players of all skill levels.

Mark’s knack for understanding and adjusting to diverse learning styles, coupled with his emphasis on post-lesson follow-ups, has consistently yielded outstanding results.

A successful player in his own right with 3 professional wins on tour, Ashley’s teaching philosophy revolves around keeping it simple and using more feel-based techniques rather than technical thoughts to educate his students.

With Ash’s extensive tournament experience, a big strength of his teaching is his attention to course strategy as well as creating specific shots to help lower scores.

Janette Borgolotto - Teaching Professional

Married with two teenagers, Janette has dedicated 30 years to the Golf Industry, with tenures at Heidelberg Golf Club and at Heritage Golf & Country Club. A current member of the PGA & ALPG Australia with advanced coaching status, Janette is also accredited in All Abilities Coaching, Capto Precision Putting, Swing Fit, GFX Trainer, US Kids Coach & MyGolf Junior Coaching.

Janette had an impressive amateur career before transitioning to the professional ranks in 2015 and to focus on teaching the game, with a dedication to fostering a positive learning environment for others to enjoy golf and reach their potential.

“I’m eager to build relationships with new players, fostering their love for the game. Regardless of skill level, I’m here to guide individuals in becoming competent and skilled golfers”.
