On Tuesday, the 30th, we celebrated the start of the 2024 golfing year with Presidents Day.
It was a great day with a 9-hole 4BBB comp on both the front and back 9.
Winners of the day were as follows;
Front 9 with 43 pts.
Glenis Harvey, Genevieve Moss, Liz Lee, Sue Shannon.
Back 9 with 48 pts.
Tatiana Stratford, Pam Grearson, Alison Abbott, Jenn French.
- The Summer Cup was presented to Deb Guilmartin.
- Runner-up on a count back went to Heather Anderson.
- The Monthly Medal for January was presented to Heather Judd.
Overall, it was a fantastic day with some beautiful speeches, great food and brilliant company/. We were even paid a visit by the ground staff, to whom the women showed their heartfelt appreciation for their fabulous job restoring our course. Seeing so many happy faces and keen golfers back at the club made for a brilliant start to the year.
