The Green Acres Junior Masters took place on Friday, the 8th of December, with 48 participants, each eyeing the sought-after title.
Nerves were running high as they gathered around the 1st tee. The forecast appeared ominous, with strong winds and storms predicted. However, it wasn’t until the final few holes that the wind gusts teetering on the verge of suspending play. Fortunately, this scenario did not materialize; nonetheless, players were pleased to gather in the Members Lounge, eagerly anticipating the presentation of the day’s winners.
Despite the challenging weather conditions, there were some remarkable Stableford scores, with the top four players shooting 41 points or better.
Congratulations to the boys’ winner, Sam Zhan, who clinched victory with an impressive 44 points. Additionally, kudos to Judy Zhu, the girls’ winner, who achieved an outstanding 50 points!
