Hole-In-One

During this morning’s Shotgun event, a truly remarkable occurrence unfolded that ignited excitement throughout the entire field. Tom Lanyon and his group found themselves on the 9th tee, eagerly anticipating a swing past the clubhouse to partake in some refreshments. Little did they anticipate the impending spectacle. As Tom retrieved his trusty Pitching Wedge from his bag, he took a deep breath, poised himself, and executed a masterful swing. The well-struck wedge soared gracefully toward the green, flying the flag with finesse. Just as it seemed the shot was too long, the TaylorMade TP5 urethane ball exhibited its magic, zipping back towards the hole until finally resting at the base of the cup. The group erupted in an exuberant chorus of cries, echoing even louder than a flock of galahs in the early morning light.

This remarkable event marked Tom’s first hole-in-one, prompting boundless excitement among Tom and his companions. We extend our heartiest congratulations to Tom Lanyon for achieving this incredible feat on the 9th hole today.
