2023 AGM Summary

48 Members attended the 75th Annual General Meeting held 7 August 2023.

The listed business items of; 

a) Confirmation of the Minutes from the 74th Annual General Meeting 8 August 2022 were adopted

b) Receipt of the Annual Report and accounts for the year ending 31 March 2023 were recieved and adopted.

c) Decleration of the election of Officers and Directors for the year 2023-2024 were recieved as follows;

For the position of President.

• Rob Coxon received 235 votes at 64.38% and was elected for a 2 year term
• Martin Sheahan received 130 votes at 35.62% of the vote.

For the position of Vice Captain.

• Chris Bate received 224 votes at 61.37% and was elected for a 2 year term
• John Mansfield received 141 votes at 38.63% of the vote.

For the position of Treasurer

• Ron Ferrari was elected unopposed and was appointed for a 1-year term to fulfill the remainder of the casual vacancy term.

For the positions of Director.

• Barbara Cummins received 161 votes at 14.64% of the vote.
• Phil Johnston received 251 votes at 22.82% of the vote and was elected for a 2 year term.
• Phil Kamay received 232 votes at 21.09% of the vote and was elected for a 2 year term.
• Kim Maybery received 242 votes at 22.00% of the vote and was elected for a 2 year term.
• Josh Monk received 214 votes at 19.45% of the vote.

d) Notice of Resolutions.

ORDINARY BUSINESS:

1. Life Membership

That Mr David Hutchinson be elected honorary Life Member of the Green Acres Golf Club was carried.

SPECIAL BUSINESS:

With the result of all resolutions passing via electronic or proxy voting by a minimum of 82.32% the meeting agreed to have all 17 resolutions moved in 1 motion which were all carried.
