An absolutely brilliant Melbourne Spring day greeted the 24 pairs that took part in the Family Trophy event on Sunday.
Winning the event was the Husband/Wife combination of Robert & Elizabeth Kenway. Their score was an impressive 48pts!
After a blisteringly hot start having 8 x 3 pointers in the first 9 holes, they cooled off a little early in the back 9 but were spurred on by their playing partners who were also having a great round to finish the round strong with 3 x 3 pointers on the last 3 holes being 7,8 & 9.
In their speech both talked about it being a total team effort.
