The forecast was grim, but 12 pairs went out onto the course today to battle it out for the 2024 L & B Carlyon Bowl.
Competitors faced all possible conditions, from warm sun, high winds, rain, a storm delay, and the eerie calm after the storm.
The scores at the top of the leaderboard were fantastic. In the end, on a four-way countback, the husband-and-wife pair of Trev and Julie Cannell won with a wonderful 4BBB score of 40 points.
The event was played with all the usual fun spirit at Green Acres. The Cannells were popular winners. Congratulations, Trev and Julie!
