2024 Green Acres Masters

The Green Acres Masters took place today, on the last Sunday before Easter, and the course was a sight to behold. The lush green fairways and gleaming white bunker sand sparkled under the autumn sunlight, evoking the ambiance of Augusta National. Nearly 100 players participated in this year’s Masters, each eying off the prestigious Green Jacket and the George Vickery perpetual trophy as they checked in at registration.

After replenishing themselves with a pre-game lunch, the field set off following a 12:30 pm shotgun start. Once completed the participants stat down to a beautifully prepared 3 course meal by Executive Chef, Sarosh Khariwala and his team. Once the medium rare eye fillet steak and pork belly porchetta mains were consumed it was time to present the results.

While scores were notably higher compared to last year’s Masters, the day graced us with truly splendid golfing weather, courtesy of Mother Nature. Ultimately, three players achieved 40 points each, with Craig Dunn emerging victorious on a count back over Damian Murray.
