2 Hole In Ones within 10days of each other!
One to Dicky Mole, the other to Lucas Kogaki.
On Sunday, January the 28th, Dicky Mole had his 1st hole in one after playing golf for 42 years. He played excellent golf on the day and had 42 Stableford points.
Dicky described the 3 hybrid shot on the 168m 17th hole as a ‘flush shot”, and although he did not see the ball go into the hole, his playing partners saw it enter the hole, and they were delighted to celebrate with him.
Dicky commented that it was a thrill to have his 1st hole in the hole.
10days later, Lucas Kogaki got a hole in one of the 9th!
Lucas makes his ball disappear!!
Our resident magician Lucas Kogaki had his first ever Hole in One on the 9th hole on Wednesday, the 7th of January.
Feeling a little wind in his face, Lucas took an extra club than usual, an 8 iron. He struck it perfectly, and the ball pitched just past the flag and hopped back into the hole.
Fellow members on the terrace acknowledged the great feat. Lucas couldn’t believe it, so he sprinted up the hill to find the ball at the bottom of the cup!
A great shot indeed, congratulations, Lucas!
