30-40-50 Year & New Member Event

Last Sunday afternoon we celebrated and recognised our newest members and some of our longest-standing members of Green Acres, at the 30, 40 & 50 Year & New Member event. After an afternoon round of Dropoff Ambrose, dinner, presentations and some colourful speeches followed in the function rooms.

This event is a great opportunity to showcase some of our great strengths, our history and club culture at the forefront of these. Another of our priorities is making sure new members of Green Acres feel welcome, which this event helps us to do.

The list of members recognised and in the room this year included Geoff Rae, a 70-year member, and former Club Captain Dick Moore with 60 years of membership. Thad Bednarski kindly spoke on behalf of all members who celebrated a milestone this year.
